Panera Bread Playgroup April 2011
Panera Bread Supports the ILMC!

The grand opneing of the Panera Playgroup took place at 9:00am on April 20, 2011. The children were busy decorating a cookie Easter egg and creating bookmarks. Storytime found board members of the ILMC reading stories and designing balloon dogs with the little ones. Fun times!

Later in the morning, the ILMC was presented a check for Panera Bread for $2000. Thank you!

Panera Bread Jackson, TN selects
Imagination Library Madison County ... $2000

Shout Out to our partner Panera Bread and the wonderful people who attended their pre-opening events and donated to Imagination Library.  Because of the generosity of those who donated, and Panera’s generosity in matching those donations, Madison County Imagination Library will receive $2,000, which will provide 166 children a book a month for a year.  In addition, we signed up several children at the events who are not yet receiving books.  Panera is continuing their partnership with Imagination Library, so there will be other opportunities to help throughout the year!

St. Luke's Episcopal Church Women ... $500.00

The St. Luke's Fall Luncheon/Dinner (formerly know as the Calendar Party) was held on October 27 (luncheon) and October 28 (dinner).The theme was "Timeless Tales", which featured tables from children's storybooks.  The event highlighted a delicious four-course dinner in a wondrous ambience of "tales-come-to-life". 

The Episcopal Church Women decided with such enthusiasm from this year's theme, to donate a portion of the proceeds to the Madison County Imagination Library.  What a spirit of the celebration!
